SYNOPSIS
Dans l’esprit de la fantaisiste, les frontières entre le réel et l’imaginaire s’estompent dangereusement.
Alors que Louise peine à trouver le sommeil, ses lubies prennent forme; les objets s’animent, le temps se transforme… et un étrange séducteur apparait, lui offrant un monde de magie et d’ivresse. Mêlant avec brio l’art de la marionnette, le théâtre de mouvement et une composition musicale originale, l’œuvre explore l’énigme des plongées obscures et des envols extravagants d’un esprit fantasque et imprévisible en proie à la maladie bipolaire.
The Fantasist a tourné nationalement et internationalement après avoir été développé à The Blue Elephant Theatre à Londres et joué à guichets fermés au Fringe Festival d’Édimbourg en 2012 et 2013.
